Riri’s suit gets a magical glow
So Riri’s armor? Now that’s next level. The trailer shows off some magical upgrades. Like, what?!
She’s all about technology, but now there’s magic in the mix?
I’m sure she’s trying to figure it out. She looks pretty dope walking around Chicago!
The Hood is Sneaky and Cool
Anthony Ramos plays the bad guy Parker Robbins, aka The Hood. He has a calm vibe, but you can tell he’s a troublemaker.
Riri is going to fight him in her hometown of Chicago. I’m saying it now – he’s going to try to seduce her with that smooth talk.
This is Riri’s big moment
The show picks up after Wakanda Forever. Dominic Thorne, who plays Riri, said it’s not a rewind, it’s a catch-up.
We’ll see how all that madness in Wakanda has changed her. She’s figuring out who she wants to be, and I’m here for it.
Amazing cast and big names
The team is assembled! Lyric Ross and Alden Ehrenreich are in it, as well as other great people.
Black Panther boss Ryan Coogler is helping to make it happen. And Chinaka Hodge is writing the story. It’s going to be pretty interesting to see them run the show.
Extra things you didn’t know
Riri from the comics created by Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato in 2016. She’s so big because she’s a young, black superhero girl.
Also, I heard a whisper that there might be a secret MCU cameo. Maybe Shuri? Or Tony Stark’s ghost? Who knows!
