Hey, Dragon Ball fans! Did you find out what’s going on with Toonami? Goku is back, but he’s a little boy! Yes, Dragon Ball Daima is coming out on Saturday, June 14th at 12:30 PM. It’s a whole old memory bomb with a new twist. Get excited!
Dragon Ball’s Big Return to Toonami
Dragon Ball has been a Toonami legend since 1997 with Dragon Ball Z. After that we got Dragon Ball, GT, and Super. It’s been quiet lately, but Daima is bringing it back! On June 14th, Toonami’s lineup is fierce: Lazarus at midnight, Dragon Ball Dima at 12:30, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War at 1:15, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga at 1:45, One Piece at 2:15, Naruto at 2:45, and Sailor Moon at 3:15. It’s an anime night worth staying up late for!

What is Dragon Ball Dima?
Goku and his crew turn into kids. Some secret conspiracy shrinks them and they head to a strange new world to fix it. Goku is once again wielding his old power pole, just like he did in the OG Dragon Ball era. It’s set between Z and Super, so it’s a dope side quest with an old-school vibe.
Why should you watch it?
Here’s why Dragon Ball Z is a must-see movie:
- New vibes, same squad – new story, same favorite characters.

- Fun and wild – laughter, action, and a crazy kid’s adventure.
- Dragon Ball history – a slot between Z and Super.
- I mean, can you believe Goku is a kid again? It’s crazy!

Why am I excited?
I used to watch Dragon Ball Z on Toonami as a kid, eating cereal at midnight. It was so sad to hear that Akira Toriyama passed away in March 2024 – he was a genius. We fans feel like Daima is his last high-five. I’m so happy to see Goku shaking that power pole. It’s going to be epic and a little sad, honoring his legacy. Who else is ready for this?
So, grab your snacks, set your alarm for June 14th, and watch Dragon Ball Daima on Toonami. It’s going to be a very interesting ride! What do you think – hyped or what?
