Heather Henning: Where is she now?

Have you seen ‘I Still Believe’? That movie completely destroyed me! Melissa’s sister Heather Henning is a person with a story. She was there for Melissa during the worst of times and now she’s doing incredible things. Where is she today? Let’s see

After the movie was released, Heather became a bit of a celebrity. Some people started to recognize her and ask about Melissa.

Where Is Heather Henning Now

Heather’s life is very busy now. She is married to Todd and they have three cute daughters – Gracie, Harper and Daphne.

She homeschools them, which is next level dedication. Plus, she runs a fun place for homeschooled kids in San Diego, Thrive Learning Center.

They do arts, science and go on field trips to local farms. Heather says it’s all about making learning a lot easier and helping kids find what they love.

She’s very smart. Heather went to college and earned degrees like a boss. She is a teacher, helps other teachers, and even speaks at large events.

Imagine speaking to large crowds that’s what she is! But she’s not all work. On the weekends, she relaxes with her family, goes hiking, or watches movies. She says her family keeps her grounded, especially her little girls, who keep her laughing.

Heather still thinks about Melissa every day. She has pictures of her sister in her house, and she tells her daughters funny stories about their aunt.

She also participates in cervical cancer awareness events. Once, she ran a 5K with her daughters to raise money, and they threw a big party afterward. She says it’s her way of keeping Melissa’s spirit alive.

After Melissa’s funeral, Heather sat alone, feeling completely lost. Jeremy walked in, didn’t say a word, just put his hand on her shoulder. She says that little moment made her feel less alone. Those little things stay with her.

Looking ahead, Heather has big plans. She wants to expand Thrive Learning Center to reach more families. She also dreams of writing a book about her life with Melissa.

She thinks sharing her story can give people hope when things get tough. Oh, and she’s brainstorming a podcast for homeschool parents.

Heather’s story is truly inspiring. She took a really tough time and turned it into something amazing. It’s about living big and keeping Melissa’s memory alive. She once said, “Life is too short, so love hard and chase your dreams.” Honestly, it hits deep.
