You won’t believe it! Ginny & Georgia’s cute little cafe, you know, where Ginny works, the Blue Farm Cafe, is based entirely on a real place!
In the show, Georgia and her kids, Ginny and Austin, move to this quiet town called Wellesbury, Massachusetts, to make a fresh start. Ginny gets a job at a cafe run by Joe, who has a secret connection to Georgia’s past.
It’s a big part of the show, and guess what? You can actually visit there!
Blue Farm Cafe is a Real Restaurant?
The show says Wellsbury, Massachusettss, but they filmed it all in Canada. The exterior of the Blue Farm Cafe is actually a place called The L in Coburg, Ontario.
It’s an amazing gastropub where you can eat food from all over the world. The owners, Greg and Amanda, moved from big city Toronto to a quieter place, similar to the atmosphere of Georgia on the show.
They use fresh, local ingredients in their food, which is great!
El got a major makeover in 2020. It used to be a Spanish restaurant, but now it’s all modern, with a fun atmosphere, think good vibes, and great people.
It’s right next to the beach and marina, so you can relax there after your meal.
It was filmed in a studio in Toronto because they needed more space for all that drama.
Ginny and Georgia is a hit on Netflix, with everyone going crazy with the twists and characters. The cafe, as it were, is the heart of it all, so knowing that it’s real makes it even more special.
Fun fact: Greg and Amanda also recently added a patio, so you can eat outside and soak up the sun!
