He showed off a photo of the finished script for ‘The Batman Part II’ . It’s finally finished! And he was having fun with Mattson Tomlin, who helped write the first film.
Reeves called him his “partner in crime.” Isn’t that pretty cool?
This update is a big one because people have been speculating for months about when the script would be ready. Now that it’s finished, they can start filming soon.
The first Batman movie hit theaters in 2022 and it absolutely blew the film away.
It grossed over $770 million! That’s a pretty big amount for a movie about a man in a Batsuit.
But here’s the problem: we still don’t know much about ‘The Batman Part II’ . It’s all very secretive.
Where it fits into the DC Universe is a big question mark. DC boss James Gunn said there’s “no chance” it’ll join the main universe.
But they haven’t completely closed the door, so maybe there’s hope?
But we do know some cool things. Robert Pattinson is back as Batman, Andy Serkis is back as Alfred, and Colin Farrell is back as the Penguin.
But who’s the bad guy? No word yet! Rumors are swirling about Two-Face, Clayface, Hush, or the Court of Owls. Any of them would be epic!
And the funny thing is: Reeves and Tomlin spent years tweaking this script to perfect it.
Plus, fans have been clamoring for a sequel ever since the first movie was a disaster. Oh, and did you know they once pushed it back because Reeves wanted more time? Talk about dedication!
To be honest: I saw the first movie with my cousin and we were crazy.
Popcorn everywhere, freaking out over every twist. Now I’m excited to drag her to see ‘The Batman 2’ . Maybe we’ll even make capes for it!
