Mobland fans! What can I say? A new gangster show is coming to Netflix. It’s called Mercy for Nun , and it’s making everyone’s heads spin.

If you liked the gritty atmosphere of Mobland , you’re going to love this show. It’s fast-paced, bloody, and completely wild.

Are you ready to dive in? Let’s go!

What’s it about?

Nam Gi-joon is a former gangster who leaves his younger brother, Nam Gi-seok, to save him.

He even cuts his own Achilles tendon so he can get out – crazy, right? Fast forward 11 years, and his brother is dead. Murdered!

So Gi-joon grabs a baseball bat and dives back into Seoul’s criminal underworld for revenge.

The show is run by two big gangs, Bongsan and Juwoon. When Joo-woon’s boss chooses Gi-seok as the next leader, Bongsan’s suspicious director catches up with him and kills him. Gi-joon is now out for bloodshed!

Mercy for None

Who’s making it awesome?

The full cast is ready! So Ji-sub plays Gi-joon and he returns after three years – fans are going crazy.

Then there’s Hoo Joon-ho, Gong Myung, and An Kil-kang. They’re having a lot of fun! So Ji-sub’s fight scene?

People say he’s just flipping people off like it’s nothing. Oh, and it’s based on a webtoon, so the story has a cool comic vibe.

Mercy for None

Why is everyone so hyped?

Fans are screaming about it online. One person on Twitter said, “Mercy for Nun is a total rush. Fast, bloody, and the fights are crazy!”

Another said, “So G-Sub’s action is on fire. This show is wild!” Another said, “It’s brutal, from start to finish. The perfect revenge story!”

But some think the plot is a bit dated. One person said, “The fights were great, but the story? Huh. I want a prequel with the brothers’ backstory!”

Mobland

Mobland vibes?

If you loved Mobland with Tom Hardy and Helen Mirren, this is your favorite movie.

Mobland was huge and Tom is also teasing a second season that has gone global – drugs, guns, crime families, oh my! Mercy for Nun has a similarly dark and shocking feel, but with a Korean twist.

Think baseball bats instead of Tommy Guns. It has heart too – Gi-Joon is all about family.

Should you watch it?

Yeah yeah! If you like action, revenge, and gangster drama, play it.

It’s on Netflix, so you can binge it in one night.
