Tammy was shocked when the doctor removed her bandages! She stared and said, “Boy…” as if she couldn’t believe it.
Then she laughed out loud and said, “I feel so weird, but it feels so good!” She rubbed her face as she laughed, “No more balsacs here!” She was so happy
Her Crazy Journey
Tammy has been struggling to lose weight. She’s a champion! She’s been struggling to lose weight for years.
She was nervous before the surgery. She didn’t know what she would see in the mirror. “All this skin hanging off my body,” she said. Now it’s gone and she’s thrilled!
Chris is her hype man
Her brother Chris is so proud. He says, “Tammy, you’re working so hard!” He’s always been a pillar of support for her.
He would urge her when she wanted to quit her job. “She’s worked so hard,” he said. “She must feel amazing!” It’s so sweet how he brings her back.

So, what is this surgery? After losing weight, doctors cut away the excess skin. It’s the big end to the weight loss glow-up! That floppy skin can be annoying and heavy. Removing it makes you feel lighter and more confident. Tammy calls it “horrible but it’s so worth it!”

Her friend Mia said, “Tammy, you’re breakfast now! Let’s go to the mall!” Tammy smiled and said, “Yes, please!” She loves to live large—to travel, to make friends, maybe even to date! She wants to try zip-lining sometime. Her old life is over, and she’s free to shine!
